Michael Vick
Only because I feel obligated to talk about it.

What Michael Vick did was wrong. Period. There's no justifying it in any way, shape, or form.

That being said, the man paid his dept to society. I believe that compassion and mercy are all but completely lost from society today. The man is getting a second chance to go back to work, and I'm fine with that. In fact, it makes me want to support the Philadelphia Eagles franchise.

Now that I've got that out of the way, let's talk football.

The Eagles are a perfect place for Vick to go. Why? Because they don't need him.

McNabb is a perfectly capable Quarterback, and a highly respected Veteran. After two years away from the league, I doubt Vick is able to even practice at the professional level, let alone play. Not to mention, it's doubtful that he will even get to play until Week Six. I can almost guarantee Vick will not be a viable starter until next season, if even then.

Vick has been given the opportunity to hone his craft at a top tier organization. The fans in Philly are going to rattle his cage for sure. This will be a great test for Vick, and will allow the world to see what he can do with this kind of opportunity.

Look for Vick to either be traded away next season. If the Eagles have a sub par season, they might even work out a trade agreement for McNabb. Either way, Vick to the Eagles is full of win for everyone involved.
